In 2025, AnimalKind purchased 4401 Route 23 in Hudson, NY. This 2-acre parcel, less than a 10-minute drive from our current home, has over 10,000 vehicles pass daily, and offers plenty of parking, room for growth, and a parklike setting.
Our vision of an efficient and innovative space for staff and volunteers, a welcoming space for the public, and a comforting and safe environment for the cats we serve is being brought to life by Angerame Architects. With over three decades of design experience, Angerame Architects has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, comprehensive design services while remaining sensitive to the budgetary and time constraints of their clients. AnimalKind is thrilled to have Angerame Architects execute our vision of a Kinder Future.
November, 2025: We have our first round of drawings to include a rendering and a proposed floor plan. We are also very excited to announce we have sent out an RFP for Construction Management Services to three very well respected regional contractors. By the end of December, our Project Team will be assembled.
