Donor Options

AnimalKind’s Capital Campaign has been designed to acknowledge our amazing supporters in distinct ways to ensure every donation is recognized and honored.  All donations are 100% tax deductible in the year or years in which contributions are received.

Naming Opportunities.  Several areas of the building have been designated for naming opportunities.  A donor can select a location and name in memory or in honor of their family, a loved one, or a companion animal.  A donor commitment of this type will be posted permanently in the building.  In several of the naming locations, there are opportunities to add framed photographs or other tributes that will be visible to staff, volunteers, and members of the public.  The Table of Needs indicates each location available and the required donation associated with the opportunity.  Contribution schedules can be created for those wishing to donate over a multi-year period.

If you are interested in donating for a naming opportunity, please contact nicki@akcapcamp.com who can review what opportunities are still available and the methods available for making the donation.

Community Room Cat Art Wall. Add your name or the name of a favored pet to a wooden cat silhouette to be placed on our Community Room Cat Art Wall. We have 250 “cats” ready to be named and installed forever in our future Community Room for a Capital Campaign donation of $1,000.  This is a unique opportunity to support us and leave a permanent, personal touch within our new home.

First 500 for $500.  A donation of $500 to the Capital Campaign gives you the opportunity to name one of the first 500 cats that AnimalKind intakes to the new facility for necessary care and eventual adoption.  We will send you a picture of your namesake, keep you updated on its progress, and notify you when your cat has found its forever home.  The first 500 donors will also be recognized on a donor wall adjacent to the Adoption Meet and Greet Rooms.

Donations up to $500.  Every dollar counts.  Every donor counts.  Our goal is to recognize every donor, and throughout the shelter we will memorialize every donor’s name on one of our strategically located donor walls.
